This beautifully patterned pure silk - with lots of gold metallic threads - is cut from a vintage Japanese obi belt and makes a very striking bag.

The lining is a dark green obi silk - this was the original lining of the belt.

As these belts are not large, this bag is made in very limited numbers.

Please note that every bag of this type is quite different, as we cut from different places in the piece of fabric. Yours will probably not be identical to one of those in the photos but will be equally beautiful - and unique!
