An intricate and exquisite zardozi bag, hand made in India and acquired by the previous owner circa 1930.

Brown cotton velvet is enhanced with a detailed stitching of pale gold thread fashioned into a repeat of geometric fans dotted with colourful large beads in purple and orange.

With a flap front closure, and a long strap this piece can be worn on the shoulder. The strap is a swirl of black and gold.

This is a vintage item in good condition with minor wear to the base of the flap front.
